Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Architect to enhance and refine our NetSuite ERP platform, focusing on scalability, process optimization, and seamless integrations with systems such as OpenAir, Avalara, and ZAB. This role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement, enabling the NetSuite platform to support business-critical operations, including financial processes, billing, and compliance.

You will collaborate closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to strategically guide NetSuite’s evolution, ensuring robust system performance and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Architecture & Optimization

   • Lead the design and optimization of NetSuite architecture to support streamlined workflows.
   • Develop scalable solutions aligned with best practices to meet growing business needs.

2. Integration Management

   • Ensure seamless integrations with external systems to maintain data consistency and accuracy.

3. Business Process Enhancement

   • Partner with finance, billing, and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements.
   • Enhance support for invoicing, revenue recognition, tax compliance, and reporting workflows.

4. Performance Monitoring & Scalability

   • Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies to handle increasing transaction volumes and complexity.

5. Advanced Reporting & Insights

   • Develop custom dashboards and reports for actionable insights, empowering data-driven decisions across teams.

6. Compliance & Financial Standards

   • Align system enhancements with financial and compliance requirements, supporting audit readiness and tax compliance.

7. Documentation & Best Practices

   • Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and establish architectural standards.

8. User Training & Support

   • Provide training to NetSuite users, ensuring smooth adoption of new features and enhancements.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• 7+ years in a NetSuite architecture or senior consulting role, focusing on system optimization and ERP solutions.
• Familiarity with OpenAir, Avalara, and ZAB billing systems is highly preferred.
• Background in a services-oriented organization with emphasis on finance, billing, and project management.

Technical Expertise:

• Advanced knowledge of NetSuite ERP, including system configuration, user role management, and reporting.
• Experience with integration tools like SuiteTalk, Celigo, or Boomi.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven track record in leading NetSuite enhancement projects, managing timelines, and resources.
• High-level analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective system improvements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
