Epicor Application Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Epicor Application Specialist to support the delivery, optimisation, and continuous improvement of Epicor ERP solutions across multiple business environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in system configuration, enhancement, and user enablement, ensuring that Epicor is fully aligned with each organisation’s operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, customise, and support Epicor ERP systems across multiple operational contexts

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to analyse requirements and translate them into system solutions

  • Deliver functional and technical support to users, resolving issues efficiently and proactively

  • Design, build, and maintain BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards, and SSRS reports to support business insight and decision-making

  • Lead or support process improvement initiatives enabled through Epicor functionality

  • Manage user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure system adoption and best practice use

  • Participate in system upgrades, data migrations, and testing cycles

  • Support integration projects, ensuring seamless communication between Epicor and third-party systems

  • Stay current with Epicor updates, industry trends, and best practices, advising on potential system and process enhancements

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Epicor Application Specialist, Analyst, or Consultant

  • Strong functional and technical understanding of Epicor ERP (Epicor 10 or Kinetic preferred)

  • Hands-on experience with key Epicor modules such as Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Purchasing

  • Skilled in using Epicor tools including BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards, and SSRS reporting

  • Solid understanding of SQL databases and relational data structures

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with diverse business teams

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders concurrently

  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments

Desirable

  • Experience implementing or optimising Epicor ERP systems in manufacturing, engineering, or distribution environments

  • Exposure to integrations, APIs, and automation within Epicor

  • Familiarity with business process mapping and continuous improvement frameworks

  • Experience supporting system rollouts or upgrades across multiple sites

Education

  • Degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
