The Requirement
Operating in the Aerospace and Defence industry, we helped one client migrate from their LN on-premises solution to the Cloud in order to capitalise on the added efficiency that a cloud-based solution offers.
Within the requirement, the client had three UK sites that they wanted to migrate simultaneously. As well as working with a partner of Infor, they also wanted additional on-site support to help guarantee a smooth system transition.

Successful hire of candidates
We sourced 8 candidates from around the UK who matched the initial specifications of the position, and based on their location, were submitted for the three vacancies across the three sites.
Turnaround time
Transparent from the get-go, the client told us they knew that they were late in coming to the market with this, and said they’d appreciate it if we could resource our best candidates as a matter of urgency. Interview and Offer
There was a two-stage interview process, the first of which was more of a discovery call where the hiring manager got to understand the candidate's background in more detail and the reason they were interested in this piece of work. The second interview was slightly more formal, and the UK MD sat in to help make the final decision.
The client made us an offer to employ three of the candidates we presented. We were able to accept these offers on our candidate’s behalf and issue contracts to the respective parties.

The Delivery
The initial engagement with the candidates was done remotely before they were invited to the respective sites to understand the scope of the work. The first requirement was to do some discovery work, and then begin workshops with the existing staff.
The migration began after the first month, and the candidates were fully utilised for the duration of their contract.
With the right resources in place, the business successfully migrated to LN Cloud and experienced no long delays. The candidates who were introduced by us were extended for the period of Aftercare to ensure there was a seamless sign-off to the project. A great success all round!!
