The Requirement
Specialising in manufacturing precision lab and medical equipment, the business we worked with had ambitious plans to upgrade from their Syteline On-Premises solution to a Cloud Suite version of the Infor product.
Speaking with the vendor, it was agreed the business would lead an aggressive 15-month rollout across the UK and US sites. To be able to complete this effectively, the client approached us to help resource a permanent CSI System Admin, a Technical Support Specialist on a 9-month contract, and a Finance Analyst on an 18-month FTC.

Turnaround time
After creating a job description that accurately represented the daily roles and responsibilities, the Infor UK team here at IT Works triaged candidates effectively against the requirements. This meant within a working week we had a substantial number of CVs screened and shared with the client as well as interview slots arranged for the following week.
Interview and Offer
There was a two-stage interview process, both done over Microsoft Teams, with an option for the second stage to be conducted on-site (if the candidates could accommodate the travel in their busy schedules). After the second stage interview, the client was keen to move forward with one of our candidates for each of the three positions.

The Delivery
When the candidates were successfully onboarding, they were fully utilised right the way through until the end of the project. There was a large amount of scope work to carry out in the planning phase, intricate design and development work, testing, and then the large-scale deployment.
The company managed to deliver on its expectations and upgraded its Syteline solution to the Cloud across the company sites. Our contract candidate was extended for another three months to manage any technical faults during the aftercare stages.
