Project Progress

Finding Resource

After expressing interest in a star candidate advertised by us, we talked with the client to discuss requirements for the role. Learning about the ongoing project, we had to understand their frustrations in order to provide them with a tailored solution. The client needed an IFS Engineering Consultant who had previous implementation experience, cross-functional exposure and had immediate availability. From here, we were able to start our search.

Connecting Experts

With our extensive network of IFS professionals, we were able to provide our client with a shortlist of 5 candidates in a 72-hour window. After reviewing the profiles, the client decided to take 3 IFS Specialists (each with a range of IFS Engineering experience) to interview. After each of the interviews, the client then selected only 2 of the candidates to take part in a second interview on-site. Following a 2-hour interview for each of the candidates, their minds were mind up on who they wanted to offer the job to.

Candidate Hired

The candidate they hired was a freelance IFS Consultant with over 10 years IFS functional experience. This person had successfully supported 2 IFS APPs 10 Engineering projects for businesses in a similar industry.

The Delivery

When the contractor started, their first job was to liaise with other consultants on the project to understand the customised solution that was being implemented. Within the first 3 months of being in the role, the IFS Engineering Consultant had designed various aspects of the solution to integrate with other areas of the business such as finance, manufacturing and supply chain.

With the right resource in place, the IFS Engineering Consultant provided training to employees on how to use the IFS system effectively which included educating end-users on software features. Ensuring IFS knowledge was sustained within the business post-implementation, this enabled the company operated more efficiently with the IFS system in place.
