The Requirement
Despite having started implementing IFS Cloud 6 months ago, one of our clients was having issues resourcing the IFS specialist they needed from their implementation partner. The business was struggling to not only find the right IFS resource but also fully utilise the resources already in place. As a result, these two problems combined were causing delays to occur.
Previously having worked with us prior to this implementation, the client reached out to us after seeing a candidate skillset they were interested in. Implementing across one UK site and one European site, in this greenfield implementation the IFS Customer Relationship Management module was essential to put in place. A Solutions Architect was ideal for them as this was a cross-functional skillset and could cover all skillsets with one individual.

Cross-Functional Skillset
The client needed a Solution Architect who was cross-functional in IFS skillset but with a particular focus on IFS CRM (Customer Relationship Management). This module was essential to the implementation as the business was reliant on customer management as part of their service. The client also needed a main point of contact for the in-house team and external implementation partner who could make decisions on the IFS Cloud implementation.

Talking with the client, we further fine-tuned their requirements as to what they were looking for in their next hire. Actively looking for a new opportunity, the talent our client was interested in was immediately available to interview. Arranging the interview within 24 hours, the first stage was a success and the client put forward an offer for an immediate start.
