System Analyst

An exciting opportunity to join an award winning organisation as a Senior Systems Analyst.

The main focus of the role is as an Unit4 Business World (Agresso) system specialist with a remit to ensure that the organisation is maximising the full value of the application.

This will be achieved through lobbying and influencing development roadmaps of 3rd party providers based on business need. You will provide expert understanding of Agresso and steering/influencing senior business colleagues in the implementation and deployment of Unit4 to maximise business value.

You will be working in collaboration with senior business colleagues, ensure that Unit4 is developed and deployed in alignment with the business strategy.

You will have a good understanding of the business strategy and external marketplace, liaising with both business colleagues and 3rd party software suppliers to translate this knowledge to provide input and direction into the future product development. You will provide advice/steer on system upgrades to ensure that the full capability is evaluated and deployed to maximise business benefits.

You will support business colleagues in the development of business cases where potential exists to further exploit the application and provide advice/steer on how to fully exploit product capability during the implementation of new/enhanced systems to deliver the maximum business value.

This role will require the following experience:

  • Previous knowledge ofthe Unit4 Business World/Agresso ERP system
  • An understanding of principles of project management and you may have a Prince2 Foundation qualification (or other project management qualification) and you may be ITIL v3 trained
  • SQL
  • Full development life cycle
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to effectively communicate, influence and challenge where applicable
  • Ability to provide support to customers and colleagues

Location:

Bradford
 

Salary:

£42,000 – £48,000
